WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A TRAINING SESSION: 

You can expect 45 minutes to a full hour of my undivided attention. Each session begins with a warm-up and ends with stretching. You can expect to be challenged, but not "beat up". Nothing we do will put you in danger of injury. I will insist you take breaks and sips of water regularly. You will be energized by the workout, but you will need a recovery period. Soreness happens in about 24 hours or so after you lift. I try to keep the soreness to a minimum, but you can expect some in the beginning.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO SEE RESULTS? 

That depends on your goal. Clients start to see and feel noticable results after 2-3 months. Your friends will start to notice visible results in about 4-5 months. Your strength will increase within one month and in six months, you will be noticably stronger and more fit in general. 

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR OLDER PEOPLE TO BUILD MUSCLE AND GET STRONGER?

Yes. Clinical studies have been done with people in nursing homes on their 80's and 90's. In just three months' time, they tripled their strength. Bone density goes up, and fat loss takes place. Muscle building to a noticable degree takes 8 months to a year in people 70 and older. 

DO I NEED TO TAKE STEROIDS OR PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS TO COMPETE?

No. In fact, I do not condone the use of steroids or PED's. If you want to make a career out of bodybuilding, you may not be happy training with me because I advocate my client's overall health and well-being, not just their ability to win a competition. My goal is to help you be competitive and enjoy your sport without ruining your internal organs. 

WILL I BE ABLE TO LOOK LIKE THE MAGAZINE PHOTOS?

In most cases, no. But we can come close. Many people have a distorted body image. No matter how good they look, they see imperfection in the mirror. Magazines use trick posing and photo processing to fool the eye into thinking what they see is attainable. But most of the time, it's not. I CAN teach you how to pose in a way that mimmicks a sports model or figure/bikini competitor to help you get the best photo shoot possible. 

WHAT ABOUT MEAL PLANS? 

I offer nutritional support, information and nutritional suggestions to help you make informed choices about what to eat. 

CAN I CANCEL MY SESSIONS ANYTIME?

Yes. There are no hidden contracts or fees. I do not do "auto-withdraw". I do retain what I've paid to Flex Gym in fees, plus a small amount for my time. Everything is above board and spelled out on the agreement.
